A PROSE
“We might not be always happy,
we might not get what we want,
but if we have patience, and if we can smile at the smallest of things that we receive every day such as love, happiness, food, and family.
we can learn to not be sad.
But it’s also okay to be sad,
because sadness teaches us a good lesson,
it teaches us how to be brave, independent, and how to not care of what others might think of us.
It teaches us to get out of bed, to dance a little, and to do something so out of this world,
that people will just look at you in awe.
There are so many people out there who are sad right now,
it’s you, it’s me,
it’s the whole damn world,
and yet, here we are,
living, breathing, surviving, struggling,
and damn, doesn’t it feel good to just come to terms with life and promise yourself that you won’t be sad tomorrow?
that tomorrow is another day;
a better day,
that tomorrow holds so many things,
things unseen to us,
things untold to us.
so why don’t you stop being sad for just a minute,
and think of the things you CAN do.
think, just think, and let me know what you feel right now,
because as I said before, it’s okay to be sad,
and it’s okay to be overly happy at things we want to be happy about.
