Although we all crave a healthy and cleansed body, we don’t take the responsibility to implement this idea just because we are too lazy to get up early in the morning and get some workout done.
Our generation is pretty devastating, to be honest. I mean, we aren’t taking care of ourselves the way our parents used to take of themselves. If you look at it, the majority of us have one problem or the other and we didn’t even know about it until we went for a regular check-up!
However, as important as regular check-ups are these days, it’s also important to keep your mental health in check because if your mind isn’t healthy, then your mind is corrupted too and that can be a huge obstacle if you’re a freelance/remote writer like me.

Having a healthy lifestyle is a gift you must take care of mindfully. You must realize that life is too short to live an unhealthy and unworthy life and you will soon realize that taking the steps (even if they’re small ones) to a healthy mind and body, will make you a better person from the inside and out. So, to get you started I have 6 effective tips that will help you achieve a healthy body and in no time make a healthy and energetic you!
Drink Lots of Water
Drinking water not only detoxifies your body but wipes away your hidden illnesses and brings out the natural beauty in you. Water is the most important part of your life (no kidding lol!) and if you don’t drink enough of it, you’re missing out on an unlimited medicine that will keep you cured till death!
2. Exercise Moderately
I know many of us are too lazy to even get up and bring our phone from our bedrooms, but guys, come on! Don’t be so lazy. Get up and move! Give your arms and legs some movement and blood circulation. I’m not even telling you to work out every single day. Just do thrice weekly and you’re good to go.
Working out has its benefits and they’re a major role that plays in our lives. Working out improves our digestion, relieves us from stress, boosts our brainpower, increases our metabolism, and saves us from deadly diseases like diabetes, cancer, and weight gain.

Eat Colorful
And by that, I don’t mean eating crayons (of course you didn’t think it was crayons…) I mean eating vegetables and fruits all in a good portion. How do you expect to live a happy life without a little rainbow?
If you’re a meat-lover then have lots of protein which can be found in fish, chicken, and eggs but if you’re vegan, then try to incorporate as many vegetables, fruits, and lentils in your diet as possible. The healthier you eat, the faster your mind and body will function, and believe it or not, your day to day decisions will be 99.8% correct.
Throw Away The Junk
Can you guys do me a favor? I need you to go to your pantry right now and remove everything that has gluten and sugar in it. Junk like biscuits, white bread, chips, and juices and replace it with healthier options such as almond flour biscuits, Oat flour cookies, almond flour bread, fresh fruits, and Quinoa chips.
The biggest enemy to our body is gluten but many of us are unaware of this substance that enters our body disguised as various snacks and fast food. I seriously think these fast food restaurants should change their menu and make it all Gluten-Free and Organic! Wouldn’t that be just a dream come true?
Well, many of you will totally disagree with me and there’s no harm in eating junk food once in a while so, agree to disagree anyone?

Sleep Well
Okay, I did lecture you about being lazy and all, but let me tell you a secret. The one who sleeps more is healthier than the one who sleeps less. I suggest that you get at least 8–9 hours of sleep every single day because our body needs to rest so that it can be productive all day. I didn’t know I would say this but, sleeping is the key to success.
Love Yourself
Last but not the least, I want you to love yourself, be yourself, and embrace yourself because you won’t look healthy unless you feel healthy. Loving yourself means loving your flaws but also improvising them and attempting to better yourself every day.
Being healthy should be one of your goals too. You don’t need to aim for being skinny or thin, just having a normal weight according to your age and height and eating healthy will suffice.
I will share a weight chart for you guys to have a look in case you aren’t aware of what your ‘healthy’ weight should be.
These are my tips for a healthy body, and I promise you, if you apply these simple yet effective tips, your life will change for the better. Start slow and end strong!
